It has been raining since this morning. The rain that started yesterday has not stopped yet.
The cherry blossoms are about one-third in bloom. The blooming is very slow, which is a bit frustrating.

-What is "macrobiotic" cuisine at Yugetsu Sanso?
In today's Gekkoen News, we will explain about "macrobiotics."
Starting from April 1st, meals for guests staying at Yugetsu Sanso will be served buffet style for both dinner and breakfast.
The cuisine at the heart of the restaurant is based on the macrobiotic philosophy.
Japanese shojin ryori cuisine has been picked up overseas and has come to be called macrobiotics [MACRO: enormous/large] [BIO: life] [TIQUE: technique].
Simply put, it is a diet for longevity.

Although we are Japanese, we had forgotten about "Shojin ryori" (vegetarian cuisine), but with the recent health boom, it has been rediscovered and has been imported back into Japan as "macrobiotics."

At Gekkoen, we aim to promote health from within the body by using safe, locally grown vegetables from Sanda and Sasayama in our macrobiotic cuisine.

Previously, meals at Yugetsu Sanso were served in the form of 12 courses in a kaiseki style banquet, but now we are offering healthy meals at our buffet restaurant, Tsukinokura.
In addition to macrobiotic dishes, we also offer creative platter dishes and children's menus, with a total of 60 different menu items available.
We have created a comprehensive buffet menu that allows you to eat as much as you like of what you like at your own pace.

・For guests staying overnight, the main menu will also include a luxurious selection of grilled Kobe beef and a platter of three kinds of sashimi.

・We also offer day trips for lunch and dinner, so please feel free to use them.
