A hotel with a spectacular view surrounded by the nature of Arima
The nostalgic scenery and the sound of the river are soothing.
We will introduce five unique attractions of Yugetsusanso.

Charm No. 1
Once you cross the Gekko Bridge, the symbol of Yugetsusanso, and step into the accommodation building, you'll find yourself in a different world, one that evokes the Showa era. You'll be greeted by gracefully swimming carp, and beyond the front window, a tranquil Japanese garden unfolds before your eyes.
Built in the early Showa period, the sukiya-style wooden building is filled with the warmth that only aged wood can provide and a nostalgic atmosphere, gently enveloping visitors in the "real Japanese" atmosphere that makes them feel as if they have traveled back in time.
Furthermore, there are only two special rooms out of the 40 rooms, called "Kyokusuitei," which come with a private open-air bath and authentic kaiseki cuisine served in your room. This is a departure from buffet-style dining, and allows for a private stay surrounded by tranquility.

Charm No. 2
Even within Arima Onsen, this is the only place that is so close to nature,
It is rare to find an inn with its own hot spring source. At Yugetsusanso's open-air bath, you can enjoy the luxurious flow of "Kinsen" hot spring water that springs directly from the premises.
The experience of soaking in the red hot spring water, a gift from the earth itself, while surrounded by the murmuring of the Takigawa River flowing nearby and the chirping of birds, is exceptional. Enjoy the rustic atmosphere of a bath that can only be experienced here, along with the colors of the seasons: cherry blossoms in the spring, fireflies in the summer, and autumn leaves.

Charm No. 3
The stage for the performance is Tsuki no Kura, which was renovated in 2025.
It's a "half buffet" style that combines a carefully selected main dish with a buffet. What's most important is the taste of "handmade" food made with local ingredients. The many creative Japanese dishes that are introduced every month and with each season are healthy, and you'll discover something new every time you visit.
We offer approximately 50 types of food, from freshly fried tempura and nigiri sushi made in our live kitchen to sweets, ensuring you have a satisfying dining experience.

Charm No. 4
Crossing the Gekko Bridge over the river, you can also use the facilities of our sister hotel, Korokan. While enjoying the retro atmosphere of Yugetsusanso, you can also visit Korokan's three private baths (Cave, Hinoki, Wine), the large public bath with a spectacular view, the noodle shop Isshintei, and the bar lounge. Coming back and forth between the two hotels will double the enjoyment of your stay.

Charm No. 5
Yugetsusanso is a relaxing inn surrounded by lush nature. Walking along the riverside, the cherry blossoms in spring, the autumn leaves, the murmuring of the river, and the chirping of birds will help you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In summer, we recommend descending to the riverbank to enjoy handheld fireworks, or cooling off in the evening breeze on Gekko Bridge after a bath. Here you will find a casual, comfortable stay without being too formal.
