The tea ceremony, known as Chanoyu, is more than the preparation of tea. It is a ritual of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility.
In this experience, we use the Ryurei style, a modern form of tea service performed while seated on chairs, making it comfortable and accessible for first-time guests.

Geiko’s Demonstration
The session begins with a demonstration by the Geiko, allowing you to observe each elegant movement—from preparing the utensils to whisking the tea.
Whisking Your Own Matcha
You will then have the opportunity to whisk your own bowl of matcha using a traditional chasen (bamboo whisk). Feel the quiet rhythm of the whisk and enjoy the aroma and color of freshly prepared matcha, accompanied by a seasonal Japanese sweet.
